Barash and Shatz kept the ingredients that made "Ichilov" so brilliant: a restrained tone, a careful walk on a fine line between realism and voyeurism, and a soundtrack that is so far from sentimental . Ambulance deals with human events that , can easily become populistic, certainly on a commercial channel. But Barash and Shatz are genuinely interested in the process of saving lives, not for it’s climax moments and certainly not for the ratings charts.
